Looking for some remedies for heartburn?  Heartburn can be one of the most annoying conditions to have to deal with.  That burning sensation that starts in your chest and moves up to your throat, it’s just horrendous, especially when it occurs on a regular basis!  You don’t have to feel like you’re helpless to do anything about it though, there are plenty of home remedies for heartburn you can put to work which will do a good job of relieving the pain.

Now keep in mind, this is only a partial list.  If you’r e interested in more solutions, there are plenty acid reflux cures to be found on the Internet.

Now without further delay, here is my listing of solutions that will provide you some natural heartburn relief:

1.        Make a Pillow Ramp

Ok, this may seem silly, but it is one of the best remedies for heartburn I’ve found.  If you find you get heartburn a lot when you lie down to sleep, all you need to do is get a bunch of pillows and kind of pile them up on top of each other forming a ramp for your upper body.  This will elevate your head such that the acid form your stomach can’t get up to your throat quite so easily.  This will really make it a lot easier for you to get some sleep at night.

2. Eat An Apple

One of the most natural remedies for heartburn is to simply eat a red apple right after your meal. This is one of natures natural antacids, the apples are also a great source of fiber which will further aid your digestion.

3. Baking Soda

Another cure for heartburn involves simple backing soda you can pick up from your fridge or from the local supermarket. Just take a tablespoon of it and stir it into a glass of water. Drink this down and it will help to neutralize the pH within your stomach and thus aid in the proper digestion of the food inside. It’s a cheap and effective way to treat heartburn.

4. Don’t Eat So Much!

You wouldn’t think this would be one of the remedies for heartburn, but, by managing how much you take in, you can lessen the chances of developing heartburn. The reason for this is, the more food that’s in your stomach, the easier it is for there to be digestive upset and for the good old esophageal burning to start up again.

Try to eat smaller meals and have more snacks throughout the day, this will keep your stomach at a reasonable level of fullness without causing trouble.

Now hopefully these tips when implemented will help you relieve heartburn, if not, don’t worry, there are a lot of other solutions to be found on the Internet, don’t give up!
